Butler County: First Time Home Buyer Program
As
of 11/2014, Butler County did not have a First Time Home Buyer program
or closing-cost assistance for First Time Home Buyers. The program is
suspended until Butler County is able to obtain funding.
If you are a First Time Home Buyer seeking a discounted interest-rate
and or closing-cost assistance, I suggest you take a look at Pennsylvania's
First Time Home Buyer Programs with the Pennsylvania Housing Finance
Agency - PHFA.
The Housing Authority of the County of Butler does offer home-buyer
counseling. The four hour course is offered four times a year on a Saturday.
